Snap Review: Ghosts (2019-present) By Megan Stoker

Ghosts is a show with a lot of heart and humour! When a couple with little money but big dreams are swept into the ownership of a grand old home, they find themselves in a place brimming with history… and previous residents! Throughout the series, you find yourself becoming close to the bumbling characters and laughing alongside them in the tongue and cheek humour that binds the living and the dead together.

The episodes are short but sweet -maybe just a little too short but it does mean you can zip through them in a day… if you enjoy a good TV binge! However, if you value your legs, it’s the perfect show to watch between studying or just before heading to bed.

It’s ridiculously silly with characters like the stern Lady Fanny Button, Pat Butcher or Humphrey’s head and the show is purely nostalgic. Just seeing some of the original cast of Horrible Histories working alongside each other is heartening in of itself. Whilst the show is adapted to more of an adult audience, it holds on to a fragment of what we all know and love!
